About StadtCollect
StadtCollect was established in 2020 in Brisbane by Managing Director Shai Stadtmiller, beginning with a single hook lift truck delivering collection services on behalf of Veolia. From these foundations, the business has grown into a trusted provider of tailored waste management solutions across South East Queensland.
Shai brings more than 20 years of experience in the waste management industry, including a decade with Veolia (formerly SUEZ) and three years with the City of Moreton Bay. His background spans operational leadership, government compliance, and complex contract management, providing StadtCollect with a strong foundation in both commercial and public sector service delivery.
Throughout his career, Shai has overseen major contracts for a wide range of state and local government organisations and high-profile assets, including QBuild, Corporate Administration Agency, City of Moreton Bay, Arts Queensland, Queensland Cultural Centre, Stadiums Queensland (including The Gabba, QSAC and Sleeman Sports Complex), South Bank Corporation, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane Airport Corporation, and the University of Queensland.
Since inception, StadtCollect has built a reputation for reliability, safety, and flexible, client-focused solutions. Veolia remains a key commercial partner, representing a large portion of the company’s revenue and entrusting StadtCollect to service critical and high-profile sites across Brisbane.
Today, StadtCollect operates a growing fleet of vehicles supported by a trusted network of subcontractor partners, including Veolia and Austrans. Together, we deliver dependable waste collection services across all waste streams – solid, liquid, regulated and biosecurity – for major commercial and government clients.
